Document a fast-moving meeting without slowing it down.

Waste Connections brought approximately 1,200 attendees together for a three-day management meeting in The Woodlands and Conroe. The schedule moved through presentations, a mini expo, team activities, dinners, a rodeo, and an anniversary celebration across four venues.

The primary goals were comprehensive documentation and immediate access to photographs for live slideshows throughout the conference. Attendees also needed a simple way to find and view their own pictures.

Planning the coverage before the first frame.

Two planning meetings and the client’s detailed run sheet became a coverage map: the highest-priority moments, the travel between venues, and the portions of the schedule that required another photographer.

  1. 01

    Prioritize the story

Key presentations, attendee interaction, sponsor visibility, team activities, awards, and celebrations were identified in advance.

  2. 02

    Plan for overlap

A second photographer covered one dinner, while dual-photographer coverage at the rodeo captured simultaneous action and attendee experiences.

  3. 03

    Keep images moving

Photographs were uploaded continuously as they were captured, giving the client fresh material throughout the meeting.
